A little bit about me…

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (MFT focus) from Pepperdine University and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Psychology with an emphasis in Life Coaching. I studied traditional doula training under Emily Stanwick and am fervent about sovereignty in pregnancy, birth, postpartum. I am an intern with the brilliant Michelle Shahbazyan. While I truly enjoy academics, a large portion of learning has come from outside the classroom, both working with others and solo on trails, in the ocean, in the saddle (bike and horse), and through the long, quiet miles of endurance races. For about 15 years, I've been an amateur athlete, having completed multiple Ironman races, ultramarathons, swim-runs, and pentathlons (including competing at U.S.A nationals ). I’ve found both movement, stillness and nature teaches. I love pushing both the mind and body and seeing the results of hard work. You discover who you are in adversity. There is also a lot to learn from rest, nourshment, and stillness. Discerning what season we are in and accepting seasons change is paramount. My work is rooted in cultivating mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing and I’m passionate about helping others do the same.

The role of mother has deepened my commitment to intentional living. It’s made me even more devoted to nurturing a lifestyle that is grounded, consistent, resilient, and sustainable. My days are shaped by movement, creativity, community, time outdoors (stroller jogs, swimming, cycling, or equestrian activities), and advocacy—whether it’s for mental health, clean nutrition, or simply more compassionate ways of living and relating to one another. We’ve endured and weathered some dark storms, yet we always FIND A WAY to create happiness, adventures, and experiences regardless of circumstances. I fully believe happiness is a choice, feelings follow actions, and mindset is everything. Momentum, potential, planning, motivation and pursuit are all part of the process to living out our dreams. I’d love to share what I’ve learned in hopes of helping you set, reach, and surpass goals, create the life you want, make changes that are sustainable, and navigate life transitions with wisdom and ease, all while finding joy in the journey.

When it comes to coaching at Sage Wellness, my goal is to help clients make their mindset work for them rather than against them, ultimately creating harmony and mastery. Coaching is about supporting you seeing what you know is already true in your life. It might be beneficial to note if you are considering therapy or coaching, therapy tends to center on the past to help you move forward, while coaching centers more on your present to help you take the next step towards the future you want. My role is to help bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be. A few practical ways to bridge the gap are developing habits, routines, and systems to build momentum. My approach blends coaching, skill teaching and practice, mindfullness techniques, and interpersonal neurobiology principles.
